Building and getting power

The last while has been a mixed bag of stuff, both un-goblinblike and some exciting technology preparation.

I’ve apparently spent quite a bit of time on the Severed Floor of Lemon, waking up with sore arms from what must be a lot of pickaxe work and block placing. I was left with an impression that I needed to craft a pretty specific, extremely powerful, piece of technology for my job down there. To be specific, a creative motor.

Since a creative motor, possibly the most powerful bit of technology a goblin can get their hands on, makes use of a whole netherite block, I have spent quite a bit of time in the nether running my one-chunk vertical miner in the search for ancient debris. And I can report success! I finally managed to get my hands on enough ancient debris to make the full nine netherite ingots needed for the netherite block and I have crafted my third creative motor!

Being a bit weary from this effort, I spent some time unwinding on my little farm at the foot of the Hilltop hill, finally making a start on a little farmhouse. Of course, being a goblin, I had to put at least some of my new house below ground.
